21 PILOTS' TRENCH ?

TRENCH by 21 Pilots is one of my favorite albums at the moment.

It starts off with a heavy distorted riff which gives the supposed Pop album a more Hardrock direction. The melody of the first song “Jumpsuit” sets an uncertain and bizarre mood followed, right away, by harsh screams and those heavy guitar explosions…

This album is hardrock, rap, electro and all at once... One of those albums who’ll get you hooked from the very first song. You just want to know what happens next.

TRENCH comes clearly in the continuity of Blurry Face for those who are familiar with 21 Pilots universe. The story unfolds. The main character, Blurry Face is still experimenting with his own feelings, anxiety, uncertainty, digging in the depths of love, looking for himself or something bigger such as some meaning…

I must admit, this album is a modern masterpiece.

I enjoy listening to it while sippin’ on straight chlorine. Lol.
