AVENGED SEVENFOLD, WE LOVE YOU !

A new track has dropped a few hours ago, by Avenged Sevenfold, it’s called We Love You. The band is featuring Pussy Riot, and, honestly, what a T.R.I.P !

First things first, this song is hiiiighly stressful, really anxiety inducing, like crazy… But what’s kind of paradoxal is that the lyrics are painting some sort of an ideal… or at least, what we ought to think it is…

“ More power, More pace, More money, More taste, More sex, More pills, More skin, More shills… More war...”

Robotic voices and 360° video game style video, We Love You is a straight criticism of the consumption society, outside driven, aiming for more, never content and losing its humanity.

I was really impressed, how the song started and didn't sound much like Avenged Sevenfold… However their signature remains, you know the melodic line that reminds me of So Far Away.

And what a beautiful ending it is, to finish with a southern rock steel guitar line, while the image shows a virtual ballad on a Kayak from the limpid waters of the woods to the trash city. Like… you don’t need much more than nature at the end of the day and… there’s always a way to cope. As with the steel guitar, unplugged, still making mesmerizing riffs.

You know what, Avenged, We Love You, and this won’t be me !
