AYTMA released HELWESS...

Aytma is a Tunisian musical collective, featuring Youssef Soltana, Marwen Soltana, Selim Arjoun and Hedi Fahem. They recently collaborated with Nour Harakati on a very first musical project entitled Helwess.

Helwess (paranoïa) is an ambient piece of art. The whole project aims to create an immersive sound universe. This sub-genre is very often too minimalist, but it is not the case with Helwess. In this album, AYTMA have been able to play with their Pop and world music inspirations to offer us a fairly consistent rendering.

“Dery Benness” is, in my opinion, the best track on the album. The melody is dark, yet, both nostalgic and comforting...
